Margarine is healthier.
Butter helps us make bread, chocolate, cakes. It has more fat than margarine, which means you have to eat less or exercise more.Then we learnt about SUGAR.
Did you know that one can of fizzy drink can have 8 teaspoons of sugar?
A small carton of Just Juice contains 5 teaspoons of sugar (but it also contains fruit which gives us fibre, which helps feel fuller for longer), but a better option is to eat the fruit.
Powerade has 12 teaspoons of sugar. It is a sports drink for people who don’t have time to eat, and is mostly for athletes who do lots of training.
We learnt that the number one option to drink is water. You can drink as much water as you want. The second best option is milk.
So what choices can we make?
