Welcome back to Term 4!
This term we have 6 awesome students joining us! Lavinia, Wynta, Marley, Mustafa & Rigg have moved from Room 11 and into the Kauri Team. We also welcome back Peter to May Road School.
We are super pleased to have them all! They are learning how to cope in a digital class very quickly, and it is fantastic to see so many students offer to help these new team members and include them in our Room 13 whanau. I am so proud of everyone!

Hinemoa says 'using Chromebooks is fun and makes your writing better and easier. I hope you have a great time learning with your chromebook.'

To me having them it feels really cool because it fells really nice to have new people at our school and it is nice to show them around your school.

We also have new students in setoga class who are learning how to use their Chromebooks too. one tip of how to use your Chromebook is if you accidentally cross out you tab you can do Ctrl Shift t that makes your tabs come back.

ReplyDeleteI really like your amazing work because you wrote lots of sentences in class and because you have made links and images to tell the reader more about your class, and the links take the reader to more information about the text and what your really talking about.

Did you know that just a few weeks ago we also had three students who had joined our class
so instead of having 29 students, we have 32. Did you help one of them get used to your class?

ReplyDeleteWOW! I am excited for you because I am thinking about all the goods stuff you are going to do in your class or maybe your school. I really like how you did a link to your school news letter it was like how excited I was to do swimming in term 4, and I got a permission slip to go to swimming that's why my family agreed with it also my little brother, also swimming cause he has to his swimming skills but did know my swimming skills but not all of them. Why don'y you make a DLO of the new students introducing there selves so we know more about them.

Why did you say that they came back to room 11 is it because they were in a another class for a while or something else? Do you know that we had 2 new people in our class that just started this term. First when they got their Chromebooks it was hard.But then they learned how to use it in a while.Here is a tip could you please put the photo of the people and make a screencastify of them talking about how it feels in room 13.

Bula Room 13.Thank you for sharing all the new members names in your class Room.Also here is a tip for shutting down your Chromebook if you are shutting down your Chromebook make shore that you first sign out because if you don't sign out that means that your Chromebook won't shut down properly.In Setoga class we also have two new students and there name is Hinemoa and Neveah.
