Respect

This week's PB4L lesson is about Respect. We have brainstormed our ideas about what respect looks like, sounds likes and feels like in different settings around the school.

Here are our ideas:

In the hall

• no talking
• no running
• no pushing
• respect property
• keep quiet and sit down
• laugh when it is appropriate
• respect people
• clap to show your appreciation

In the library

• respect property
• look after the books
• use the browsing paddles properly
• respect the computers
• return things where you found them
• be quiet
• no running
• do SSR
• be sensible
• keep your hands and feet to yourself

On the field

• listen to instructions
• play safely and sensibly
• don’t cheat
• respect property
• respect others
• value yourself
• talk in a friendly way
• keep your hands and feet to yourself

In the cloak bay

• clean up after yourself
• don’t run
• be quiet
• no littering on the ground
• be patient
• be safe and sensible

On the courts

• no kicking
• let other people play in games
• no fighting
• no bullying each other

In the classroom

• no whistling in the classroom
• be positive to the teacher and all students
• no fighting
• no chucking books
• respect the person who is talking
• be quiet
• don’t waste other people’s learning time
